If you are not a member, you're eligible to join our family by being an employee or retiree of Department of Corrections, Office of Juvenile Justice, Allen Correctional Center, Winn Correctional Center, LaSalle Corrections, Louisiana Workforce LLC., and Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office. Parole Board, Pardon Board, and Prison Enterprise Board members are also eligible. A $20 deposit in a savings account is all that's required to begin your membership with DOCCU. Once your savings account is open, you are eligible to apply for any other products and services we offer.
To open your account, visit one of our Branch Locations today, or visit your Unit Representative at your Correctional Facility to complete and sign an application with your initial $20 deposit.
Deposits can be made by mail, in person, direct deposit, or payroll deduction. If you have any questions, please Contact Us for more information about eligibility, accounts, products and services, and qualifying criteria.
Can My Family Members Join?
Sure they can! As long as you are an employee or retiree of the sponsor groups named above, your spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, or siblings may join as well. It's as simple as them opening a savings account with an initial $20 deposit. Once opened, they too will have access to all products and services we offer.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the United States Government fight terrorism and money laundering, Federal law requires us to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person that opens an account.
What this means for you: when you open an account, we will ask for your name, a street address, date of birth, and an identification number, such as a Social Security number. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents that will allow us to identify you. We appreciate your cooperation.
